Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Perfect Generation Ministries is a non-profit organization created to meet the needs of the community impacted by Gun Violence in direct and indirect Mental Health and Health Challenges.
Our primary focus is those designated as minorities, between the ages of 4-24-year-olds, along with members of the family within the household, we serve all people who are in need. Our programs provides the following:
● Nurse Case Management Services at No cost to the families but we bill to insurances and/or contract companies for services rendered
● Growing Minds Youth program (all ages from primary ages to high school, mentors, students will receive a stipend, report cards are monitored, meetings with school and parents, and activities, free tutoring, peer support groups, and more)
● Mentoring programs (Bridge mentoring, Professional for all ages)
● Opportunities to dialogue with Public Safety to gain mutual understanding, thru workshops,& panel discussions
● PGM'S Men on the Rise (Men only age 15 years and up)
● PGM'S Parents Corner (Parents who lost their child/ren)
● PGM'S Connected by the Heart (Marriage couples support group)
● Workshops (Monthly Virtual Summits)
● Leadership opportunities
● Employment Readiness Program and Internship\s, we complete mock interviews, assist with CV/Resume education, how to complete an application and more.
● Tutoring services with no fees
● Domestic violence awareness
● Preventative awareness for health care concerns with resources (primary and specialty care)
● Mental health awareness with referrals (Opioid Treatment Resources, if applicable)
● Educational resources for high school equivalency exam, we assist families to receive their high school or GED degree and return to trade or college (Parent Scholar Program partnership with HCC)
● Food Support Resources
● Housing resources
● Veteran affairs-connect our veterans with proper resources.
All these programs are in alignment with our Mission and support our efforts in providing wrap-around services tailored to families impacted by Gun Violence, Mental Health, and Health Challenges.
Our Story
We are a Referral base program
Established 02.10.2021 by the founder due to her own struggles as a minority woman experiencing horrible treatment throughout her life.
Most importantly, her experience as a public health nurse and seeing black women, Men and children treated in such inhumane manners.
This 501c3 non-profit provides an opportunity to change the narrative of the future generations of minority men and women. Since our open house on May 19, 2021, PGM Family have served over 2000 clients to include: Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, and Coat Drive Giveaways and continually assisting those in need, providing nurse case management services with no cost directly to the families, however, we will charge the insurance companies.
We are in partnership with the Howard County Public School System Mental Health Council, Howard County Health Department Resources, local Vendors, Howard County Sheriff’s Department (Lt. Kurt Wall and deputies), Howard County Department Of Community Resources, Touch4Life (B-HAVE), Pastor Andrew James of Columbia Baptist Fellowship Church, Pastor Robert Turner of St. John Baptist Church, Be Smart, Moms Demand Action, Howard County Library System, NAACP of Howard County, Howard County State's Attorney Richard H Gibson Jr., Howard County Executive Dr. Calvin Ball III, Dr. Stephanie Wall, Ms. Mae A.
